Sumire and Her Sea, 2018
Departure of a love one of mine just came from nowhere for a sudden. However, I still haven’t finished reading the book she recommended yet. She has gone back to the ocean, where she loves the most. I can only go onto her favourite ferry ride, to experience what she usually do in her daily routine in order to reminisce her existence again.
I try to re-organize the words of certain pages by breaking down the paragraph in the book, hiding some of the words, or doing collage of the content, in order to re-construct a conversation between her and myself - about the connection we have shared before. The words are emerged by the sea, where we will be meeting each other again.
