Photography appears to be a flatten state of death, as the photo stays still and silent like a corpse for everyone to stare at. We may turn to moving images in hopes of keeping our obsession object moving and alive, refusing to admit that we announced the death of a subject matter we love by photography - but mortality reminds us of our body and memories deteriorate as time goes by.
No matter how we change the way of reading images by switching in between moving and still images, we can't recall the state of the subject matter appeared in old photos at the present, as well as our impulse of love which may have faded as the time passes - they will only be growing more distant with us, and there's no way of going back. In the end, photography gives us nothing but melancholia.
(The speech can only be heard when you keep your ear close to the TV like listening to someone’s whisper. It used to be the beginning of our pain. That most of us have finally, and mutually agreed to give up peace and rationality.)
